Flow (2024)

gorgeous, serene, and therapeutic, flow is a masterpiece in visual storytelling. with zero dialogue, the movie nonetheless pulls you in with a well-paced rhythm and deft cinematography. i’m also giving extra half a star on behalf of preston who stay glued to the TV basically the entire time. 

at its core,  flow is about friendship, resilience, and bunch of other themes that we’ve seen before, but that doesn’t matter. in a world ravaged by biblical floods, the way this film still manages to bring you calm and makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside is nothing short of marvelous. well-deserved oscar win.
