A Complete Unknown (2024)

this felt like a middling biopic with no particular outstanding aspects. i think a lot of it fell flat because i could not credibly take timothee chalamet as bob dylan seriously. even in all the makeup he looks like the same angst teenager with attachment issues in lady bird than an once-in-a-generation musical genius. i think he needs to live a little more life before taking roles like this to deliver a nuanced performance.
